We look forward to offering your children a safe & fun camp experience this summer. Please review the FAQ’s below before emailing or calling us with your questions.
We can’t wait to see you!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
In compliance with The Government of Alberta health and safety regulations we are able to offer limited camp spots this summer.
Please review the FAQ’s and then leave us a voicemail by calling 587-353-4652 or email us if you still have questions.
We anticipate a high volume of requests and ask for your patience as we respond to all guests.
My child is already registered for a Summer Camp, what are my options?
Your camp spot has remained unchanged and you do not need to do anything at this time. All camps now include complementary pre & post-care so you may drop-off or pick-up your child between 7:30am – 5:00pm. If you wish to change your camp week or request a refund, please email email@example.com with your request and we will reply in a timely manner.
Will you be providing lunch for participants?
No. Following the recommendation of AHS we are asking parents to please provide lunch & 2-3 snacks for their children. If you have previously purchased a lunch add-on, you will be refunded the full amount.
Why did the summer camp pricing change?
Our adjusted summer camp pricing includes pre & post-care as well as a COVID surcharge for new PPE equipment, cleaning and sanitization supplies, and staffing measures taken for the safety of all participants and staff.
What precautions are you taking to prevent illness?
• The facility will be closed to the public during summer camp hours.
• Campers will be grouped into cohorts of 9 children + 1 coach.
• Cohorts will follow proper social distancing protocol and will not intermingle with children in other cohorts.
• Supervised hand washing before and after each activity.
• Mandatory daily temperature checks and health screening for staff along with proper PPE equipment.
• Over a dozen handwashing stations throughout facility.
• Additional staff employed to wipe down equipment and high touch surfaces between cohort groups.
We will have safety protocols in place for check-in, lunch, washroom utilization, staff training, as well as separate hand washing stations for each cohort of campers.
I want my child in the same cohort as their friend, can I request this?
We will be accepting requests for groupings until 3 days prior to the start of your child’s camp. Due to small group sizes and required age groupings, not all requests will be accomodated. Requests can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If my child gets sick mid-week will I get a refund?
If your child gets sick mid-week please keep them at home and we will provide you with a pro-rated refund.
To notify us of a sick child, please call or email our bookings department at 587-353-4652 | email@example.com
What time is camp in session?
Camps run from 9am – 4pm. Campers will remain in their cohorts for the extended duration of pre & post-care (7:30am-5:00pm) as well to ensure proper social distancing.
What new sessions will my child take part in?
All campers will experience a variety of new sessions in addition to play time throughout the facility to support social distancing between cohorts.
A few examples are:
• Science Experiments
• Calmness & Meditative Sessions
• Positive Thinking, Speaking & Action Sessions
• Bigger & Better Crafts
Will you accept walk-in camps?
No. All camps must be purchased in advance to maintain safe capacity & groupings or participants.
Will the café be open during camps?
No. There will be no food or drink services offered during summer camps. Please provide your child with ample snacks and drinks for an active day at camp.
Will there be any other guests in the building during summer camps?
No. InjaNation campers will have exclusive access to our entire facility for the duration of camps. (7:30am – 5:00pm)
Our family has left the country recently, can our children still participate in camps?
If you have left the country recently, we request you follow the government guidelines and self quarantine for 14 days.
Birthday Party & Group Events
I have a deposit for a birthday party or team wrap-up party, what are my options?
We can give you two options. First, we can apply your deposit amount onto your account for use of a future booking, or we can refund that amount to you. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with which option is best for you
We just had a birthday party there and I was about to activate my 1-month free membership gift that is expiring soon, now what do I do?
All 1-month membership gifts will be given an extension to be activated within the first one month that we reopen for your convenience to take advantage of your present!
I have a question for a future booking (birthday party, teambuilding event, or corporate holiday party), what’s the best way to get a hold of someone?
The best way to get a hold of someone is to email email@example.com. Please be patient in waiting for a response as we are experiencing a high volume of emails at this time.
Memberships: Family & Individual
My 3 month membership is still active. Do I lose the remaining time?
Not one bit. All memberships will be extended with the amount of time you still had left on your membership starting on the day we re-open to the public. For example, if you had 1 month remaining, you will be given a 1 Month extension starting the day we open again. Please watch your email, our social media, and this page for updates on opening.
